Weddings

When you start to plan your very special day it is important to include your Toastmaster in all the plans right from the start to ensure that the day proceeds in a smooth and orderly manner. A venue meeting is strongly recommended so that all the aspects of the day can be visually planned on the ground. Questions like whether or not you plan to have a receiving line into the wedding breakfast and if you are whether you want it to be announced or unannounced and if you do whether you want the announcements to be formal – Mr and Mrs Blogs – or informal – Mary and Jack. If  formal entry is required into the wedding breakfast do you want it for the whole of the Top Table or just for the Bride  and Bridegroom? Nigel can give advice to all the speakers who will be speaking to ensure that the correct toasts are made and will – of course – pre-amble the speakers correctly and ensure that each speaker receives the applause that they deserve!

A Toastmaster like Nigel who is over six feet tall wearing his Red Livery Tail Coat becomes a magnet for questions and will ensure that all your guests are fully aware of all that is going on during the day. A Bride and Bridegroom does not want to be directing guests to the toilets on their special day! Nigel will liase closely with the venue management and banqueting staff to ensure that everybody has the agreed timings of the day. If a Chef is producing a hot starter it is important that the Wedding Breakfast starts at the correct time and that your guests are seated ready to receive their first hot course.

You will find elsewhere on this web site genuine comments from Brides and Bridegrooms who have experienced Nigel Rose’s Toastmastering skills at first hand – these words speak for themselves and should give you every confidence in Nigel’s ability to deliver the best possible day for you.
